Beautiful pair of his and hers bookends from Africa. Each carved from one piece of very heavy, dense wood. These must have taken a great deal of work from an expert carver. Both faces are very smooth and well worked. A must-have for the serious collector of African art. Measures approx. 9.75" tall x 3.5" deep x 4.5" wide and together weigh almost 7 lbs! These are unmarked but appear to be of the same quality of the hand carved items from Tanganyika. Priced for the pair.
