Vintage Brass Sheet Music Holder in the shape of a lyre. We acquired this from the trunk of a man in which the latest dated item inside was 1915. We did not over clean only wiped down. There is some oxidation on it which can be polished, however, we typically do not over-clean metals as so many of our collectors want the natural patina. Would be placed on an instrument like a trumpet. 
The holder is in the shape of a lyre. It measures approx. 6 1/4" long x 2" wide at it's widest point across the lyre. The bottom arm that protrudes out like and "L" measures 1". It has a weight of 1.4 ounces.
