This Vintage Papago Indian Basket is a southwest tradition with the Tohono O'odham women. Gathering local materials, these are woven into functional and decorative items. This wide tray features a coiled center that grows into a beautiful pattern of yucca securing beargrass and devil's claw bundles. It's approx. 9" wide & 1.5" deep and weighs a little under 0.5 lb(s).
