This is an old fire starter - brass can/pitcher with pumice stone lighter/wand. It is a "Mayflower" brand as indicated on the lid (the hinged lid opens easily.) I believe the hole in the handle is for hanging on the wall. The pitcher is approx. 6 5/8” tall x 4.25” bottom diameter. The length of the lighter is 11”. The end of the lighter is hard and chipped in places and there are some discoloration/patina from age. In great vintage condition it has the distinctive fish tail handle. A nice accent piece for a fireplace, cabin or kitchen decor or can be used for flower arranging.
